The house orchestra jams. Swing music blasts.
She’s Ginger Rogers, he’s Fred Astaire.
He asks for a dance with flair.
Her heart beat races. Her steps follow the basses.
He looks into her eyes and smiles.
Triple step, tommy tuck, Charleston, swing out.
Her ears are ringing, the music’s loud.
Then she has to take the room key, back to reality.
He is married, what a pity. She turns around swiftly.
